Site Usage

The navigation of this site has been designed for the ease and accessibility of all potential users above the age of 16 years old as best as possible to our ability and resource at time of creation.

Accessing the functionality of this site is entirely at the responsibility of the end user or their legal guardian and is governed by their ability to be solely responsible for their choices.

Ideally the site will function as an "online portfolio" for the models hosted on the site and also function as a location where professionals can book site for models for photographic, video and promotional assignments in exchange for payment.

While no restrictions are placed on access to the sites many different sections (except where access would compromise security) it is possible that some imagery may unintentionally cause offense to some of our more sensitive end users and it should be known that although ModelGateway.net cannot be responsible for the reactions of each independent end user, we do endeavour to provide access to imagery of a tasteful nature and viewed as "generally acceptable" by a large test group of diverse persons which includes industry professionals and members of the general public.

It is advisory that if imagery or the idea of modelling (both Male or Female) would cause offense to any end user of the site, then please change your URL and do not continue to traverse the site, its links and or its Facebook interactivity any further.

Bookings and booking enquiries

It is possible to book up to 30 Models on our website via email communication. It is important to know that any booking will be subject to additional terms and conditions that are available upon request from ModelGateway.net utilizing our contact us link.

The site functions as a "gateway" between "Employer" and "Model" and although the Models on our site receive training, portfolio development, advice, guidance and management provision, the final contract between the Employer and Model is to be completed between the two parties with ModelGateway.net staff acting in an advisory position to both the Employer and Model to enable the creation of a safe agreement for services to be provided.

Payment for services will be paid directly to the Model and any tax or insurance deductions that may be required will be the sole responsibility of the Employer and Model respectively and not the responsibility of ModelGateway.net or its registered trading name of Stormcloud Creative Ltd.

These terms and conditions are due for renegotiation on 10th December 2010.

ModelGateway.net will seek missed or late payments on behalf of the Model for a fee of 10% of total owed which will be charged to the Employer for payments more than 15 days late.

ModelGateway.net will provide support and guidance for Models on its website who have received bookings via both the website and through other communication and reserves the right to refuse work on behalf of the Model based on its appropriateness to their role within ModelGateway,net.

ModelGateway.net Models will not entertain imagery of a 'pornographic' nature including but not exclusive to, 'insertion', 'continental glamour', 'full frontal nude' and/or any other imagery or film requirements that are considered within this nature by the Model or the ModelGateway.net team. Models who are found to have completed this work will be released from ModelGateway.net and refused use of their portfolio images as developed by ModelGateway.net, indefinitely.

Booking enquires will first be sent to ModelGateway.net who will then conduct a safety check of the client and then and only then will ModelGateway.net staff contact the Model on behalf of the Employer to start initial negotiations.

This is a free service as of 10th May 2010 and will continue to be a free service to the Employer or Model within the first 12 months of the Model joining ModelGateway.net, after this time a deduction of 20% can be applied to the payment received by the Model.

Brand Usage

ModelGateway.net will provide services directly to a client if Models are booked via their brand. For instance, if a Employer would prefer to book a range of Models for promotional events or photographic/film assignments under a brand such as "PRO20", then ModelGateway.net will become the Employer for the duration of the agreement, allowing the Models to be co-ordinated by the ModelGateway.net team and this will be reflected in a final charge at the end of the agreement.

Other companies wishing to use the ModelGateway.net brand in their promotional material will only be able to do so with the express written permission of the Managing Director of Stormcloud Creative Ltd. Use of ModelGateway.net imagery in promotional material or any other format in which features currently active/inactive Models is prohibited and will be seen as copyright infringement and legally actionable.

Requests to use ModelGateway.net branding including sub sections such as "PRO10", "PRO20", "MG Red", "SearchLight!" and/or any other section or designed logo associated with ModelGateway.net will be entertained and the final decision is down to the Managing Director of Stormcloud Creative Ltd.

Syndication and image handling

ModelGateway.net provides the use of its imagery for a range of needs including print, electronic, promotional and commercial usages. Imagery can be hired, leased or brought for relative cost.

All usages are subject to the approval of the copyright holder and in cases where ModelGateway.net is not the copyright holder a 'handling fee' of 15% will be charged to the copyright holder for all agreements seen to sale.

Imagery to be sold permanently will include the transfer of copyright to the Client which may require of an additional service at no extra cost to the client. Image sales are handled either by Stormcloud Creative Ltd or PicDesk.com based in Australia (Female imagery only) and are intended for purchase by professional buyers in the editorial, advertising and print industries. It should be noted that a percentage of every sale is donated to charity.

We are really keen to provide you with a fun and enjoyable online experience while visiting ModelGateway.net and as such we will try to improve our services from time to time. This means that some sections may be closed as we add improvements to them and sometimes the entire site may be offline all together.

We reserve the right to stop providing service or access to the site as and when we see fit but rest assured that we will only take the site offline or reduce access to various areas in an attempt to provide a better experience for our end users so please bare with us.

We will try to give you advanced knowledge of these situations as best we can but this may not always be possible.
